Want to try a hanbook ?

Come try on a full hanbok outfit at Dream Photo Studio in Insa-dong and get your picture printed with a background! There are a wide variety of hanbok types and head dresses that you can choose from and includes makeup and helpers etc. The minimum price included printed picture is about 20,000 won but it is totally worth it because they let you take your own pictures with different backgrounds, too! Service indeed! Their free tea is also tasty and it can take 40 minutes to 2 hours.

Tip: If you don't want to pay for the service you can still try on hanboks and take pictures by stopping by the Insadong Tourist Information Center and asking. Keep in mind that it isn't the full service or hair and make-up like the studio.

Far far away, unknown and untouched by human civilization, lies a peaceful island covered in snow and ice. On this white island, deep inside a small secluded forest, is a tiny village inhabited by little animals. No-one knows how they came to live on the island but they naturally came to live together in the village situated in the little valley where the sunshine is warmest and the cold wind is least harsh. In the village lives Pororo, a very inquisitive impish little penguin, good-natured polar bear Poby, smug nosy red fox Eddy, shy and timid little beaver Loopy, friendly penguin girl Petty and happy humming bird Harry. All of our friends have distinct personalities and different interests which sometimes cause little (and sometimes not so little) happenings in their calm white world. But they are all good friends and know how to help each other in times of trouble.

Character :

Pororo (뽀로로): 
a little blue penguin and the titular character of the cast of friends. Pororo wears big round aviator goggles and a tan-colored aviator cap (parodying the fact that penguins are incapable of flight). He is 5 years old and the leader of the group. He often gets into various types of mischief with his friends, which includes trying to fly and playing practical jokes on his friends. Pororo lives in a pine-tree house along with Crong, his dinosaur friend and roommate. He wears a blue aviator jumpsuit and a yellow aviation helmet and gloves. His instrument is the electric guitar. He is often called "Pororo the President".

Crong (크롱): 
a little green dinosaur that lives with Pororo. He is discovered one day as an egg, which hatches later and is adopted by Pororo as a little brother. Crong is the youngest of the group. His age is only 1 year. He is usually with Pororo and is constantly getting into trouble. In the first season he cannot speak; he can only say his own name, "Crong!" to communicate, but in later seasons he can say Pororo's name and a few basic words. He wears a blue aviator jumpsuit and a red bandana and gloves. His instrument is the trumpet.

Eddy :
a little fennec fox who is intelligent and an inventive genius. His age is supposed to be 7. Sometimes, he can be a show-off. His inventions include robots, trains, cars, flying devices, ships and submersibles among other things. Often, these inventions go horribly wrong which causes problems for anyone who gets caught up in his antics. Eddy is good friends with Pororo, but is also his friendly rival. Eddy lives in a hollowed-out tree stump. He wears a white shirt and blue overalls. His instrument is the xylophone.

Petty :
a female penguin who wears a violet hood and caplet. She joins Pororo and friends in Season 2. She is the same age as Pororo's age. The guys are shown to have a crush on her, but she seems to be oblivious about it, but she admires Pororo and comes to like him more than a 'friend'. Pororo often finds himself dumbfounded when she comes around, much to the ire of Loopy, who is mildly jealous of her. Petty is shown to be a little tomboyish, is a terrible cook but excels in sports, and is afraid of spiders. Petty lives in a cabin made by her friends. She wears a purple winter dress and a winter cap. Her instrument is the violin.

Loopy :
a beaver who is often the voice of reason in the show. She is very shy, sensitive, and sometimes she can be a little princessy. She is 4 years. Loopy lives in a hollowed out log and often invites visitors over. She enjoys cooking; she is especially fond of baking cakes and pies for her friends. Pororo and Eddy were always vying for her attention until Petty becomes introduced later. She wears a pink dress and a flower barrette on her head. Her instrument is a white piano.

  

Poby :
a polar bear that lives out by a glacier. His age is mostly 21. Poby is the largest of all the characters and has a very gentle nature. He enjoys fishing and photography and does most of the village chores. Poby has a big black nose and wears a white shirt and dark blue pants. His instrument is the drums.
 

 
Harry :
a wayward hummingbird who lost his way from Summer Island and found his way into Pororo and friends' neighborhood . He is mostly 4 years old. Harry can be quite temperamental, and he loves to sing, but his singing is usually not well received by his friends. He lives in a tiny cabin inside of Poby's house and wears a big purple bow tie. He is warmhearted with his joyful, happy songs.

Korean Folk Village is a living museum type of tourist attraction in the city of Yongin, a satellite city in the Seoul Metropolitan Area in the province of Gyeonggi in South Korea.
The purpose of Korean Folk Village is to display elements of traditional Korean life and culture. There are multiple sections to the park. There are numerous replicas of traditional houses of the different social classes (peasant, landowner, yangban) and the various regions. The park also has a traditional street market, restaurants, and showcases of traditional wordworking and metalworking techniques. There are performances of traditional dances, equestrian skills, marriage ceremonies, and recreational activities.

An amusement park section has rides and games, an art museum, a sculpture garden, a Korean Folk Museum, and a World Folk Museum which highlights traditional lifestyles from around the world. (wikipedia)

The Korean Folk Village is home to numerous collections of Korean cultural artifacts, providing an opportunity for Korean children to experience and learn the culture of their ancestors firsthand. The site provides a venue to promote traditional Korean culture to both domestic and international visitors, and provides an open-air learning place for succeeding generations. The village has reproduced over 260 traditional houses reminiscent of the late Chosun Dynasty and has recreated the life of Korean people through the exhibition of various household goods. In about twenty workshops, various handicrafts including pottery making, winnows, round bamboo baskets, bamboo ware, round willow baskets, Korean paper, brassware, knotting and embroidery, paper umbrellas, musical instruments, furniture, farming tools and accessories are exhibited. Overall, visitors can catch a glimpse of the lifestyle of the ancient Korean people in the 300,000 pyeong natural location, experience diverse traditional life at the Folk Village, and enjoy the museum in addition to the folk museum.

fortunately, we didn't miss this performance....
i like acrobatics performance because it looked amazingg~ u know why ? because i saw a man walk in a tightrope without use anything to protect his body if he falls or something happen :( but thankfully, i never heard that man fall from that rope... wooww

i recommend you to eat 해물파전 (hae-mul-pha-choen) : seafood with green onion pancake... it was sooo deliciouss... i like it :) :) even the price is so expensive there
but i like it :( it tasted different than the other place in seoul~
but the other food taste not too good :( maybe u can find more delicious food outside...

aaa~ it's time to share something...
do you know, lately, i like 하동훈 (하하) ?
because he is so cutee... like a child!! ㅋㅋㅋ but i like him :)

someday my friend asked me "do you know that Haha has a restaurant ?" and i said "no. because i only know that Gary (LeeSsang) who has a restaurant!"
my friend : "ah really ? maybe i make a mistake. may that i heard is Gary not Haha."
that's it for our conversation, but actually i curious about that. is that right ?
and i looking for with google's help... and i didn't find it :(
ahh~ maybe my friend really make a mistake... but i still curious.. so i start to looking in google too but not indonesian google (google.co.id) but korean google (google.co.kr) and
